Looking for eco friendly Hondata Kpro tuner
Looking for eco friendly Hondata Kpro tuner, preferably close to Las Vegas but will consider email tuner.
I have a Honda Insight, K20a3 with a2 bottom, 11.5 cr, garrett gt2554r turbo
accord gearset with 4.1 final
Really discouraging when I talk to 'the pros' and they realise im very into my 200whp turbo K insight where MPG is as important as hauling ass and I have an a3 base engine and the eyes roll back on me every time. Figured this forum would be a good place to look.

Ecky might be able to give some advice if you attempt to tune it yourself. His isn't turbocharged though. You could also reach out to PGFpro, he's got a self tuned turbo car with a partial focus on fuel economy. They'd probably only offer advice for tuning it yourself though.
I'm not into honda engines (yet atleast), what's so bad about it being an a3?

I'd say Jeff Evans would be my recommendation. He can probably get your timing and cam tables nearly perfect without ever touching the car.
I have some experience, but I'm also lacking a lot.

the K20a3 is the low rev, thin rod low CR engine that comes in the 02-05 civic si and base rsx, the head is commonly known as "fake VTEC" very similar to the K24a4 Accord/CRV head but it has a smaller combustion chamber which promotes better economy, you can get them for basically free. putting an A2 block which is known to survive 600whp under an a3 head bumps the a2 compression to 11.5:1 but when I tell people the combo they get physically sick

There's evidence on the VW TDI site that federal people are looking to shut down tuners. I you're thinking about such a device, decide fast unless you can program by yourself.

They don’t quite say **** off but start getting hard to contact and once I sense the displeasure the trust vanishes instantly.... boost is set at 6psi, 200whp is fine any more a bonus, first tune was 199@6200, 180tq @2600, very v8 like..... keep in mind I look at the HP as a side effect or the easy part, I want what is HP to be balances by good mpgs... I have been communicating with Evans Tuning and he seems like the sure bet.

I feel the same way,
It’s already been on a dyno twice, I also have another car that I just bought Kpro for, will be in a bit of a rush to get it done and tuned.... maybe the e-tuning will be the future
