Shwarzmuller GmbH AC Motor Controller
Model# dACi-TA48/300 KA
any insights anybody mite have or a link for a wiring diagram would help a lot.
I'll take pictures of the insides when I get it for all to see

Good buy!
I found this link - looks like a useful wiring diagram, some application notes
http://www.sauer-danfoss.com/stellen.../bln-10294.pdf
300A at 48 VDC gives you about 20 HP if you can find a motor that is rated between 150A - 175A at 30 - 35 VAC. That's a pretty weird voltage.
The current is too high for a typical induction motor. This is the best I could find ... 50 HP, 200V, 150A full load. The voltage is way low, it will take the maximum current, but is very heavy.
Perhaps you could use a 48VDC motor and use the controller as a way to vary the output voltage, through a set of diodes.

hahaha. Big oil strikes back. And part 3 (actually part 6) would be return of the electric car Jedi. haha. Yugo would teach people the force of watt*hr/mi. The Big Oil would be like ghosts smiling at Luke on that one forest moon of Endor with the little fuzzy monkey creatures everywhere. Bobo fet (mosfet) would blow up. Hmmm... Luke would almost skank with his sister Leah. OK, the analogy is starting to break down.

In a way it seems like big oil did strike back here. Maybe 10 EVs compared to many thousand gas hogs is not a very good picture of future vehicle trends. My Aspire has been the only long-lasting vehicle (5 years or so)! I am very glad I did not change a thing. Those $20. fill-ups are killing me so I got a Handy E-trike for very short trips. Slower than molassas syrup, but I am afraid to change a thing.

I've seen this controller on ebay the guy had the motor an AC-31 but he was asking too much for it. Yet I must say let me know if there's someone out there that will have a liquid cooled AC motor that does 144 volts and 600/800 amps and I'll buy it.
Peace.

I think that is a bit extreme just for some wires and a plug,
but if I can't find one I but have to bite the bullet
also if anybody can keep a ear out for a ac31,ac35,ac50 motor for a $1000 or under please let me know
I was wondering I droped my 9in motor off today to get the shaft cut down to the warp9
motor size 1-1/4 with 1/4 key way they said the do it all for $85
but was wondering can I run the ac controller thru a 6 diode rectifier and have a kool
dc controller I know the rect would have to be big enough to handle the amps and be cooled quite well, but will the controller work if it cant see a feedback from the phase sensor?
plus where I'm living now being care giver is only 1/4 mile from the biggest machine shop in the county LOL
well thats the lastest news so far, seems funny I got more done living away from home then at home hahaha

Charlie is definitely a keeper. Here's a video of him when he was just a baby:
Now, he likes to bite metal with his lathe instead.

My local motor shop gave me a chunk of fine pumice stone to help seat the brushes, hold it on the commutator while the motor is turning and it adds just a little bit of grit in there to help the brushes seat perfectly.

I'm going to start crying on account of the awesomeness of the motor. Now my wife is going to think I'm a chick.
