Did anyone else have a tough time getting the red fuel tank seal adhesive sticker off their car? I used WD-40 and it took all the red sticker off but there is still a ghosted adhesive area left (like the sticker is still on there but is now clear instead of red).

And...anyone have any suggestions for removing tree sap from a car's painted surface. Sometime over the last week or so (while parked under a tree in MA) I have 3 spots of tree sap that I cannot get off my car. Used WD-40 on them too and it got most of the sap off but it looks like a ring of hard sap is still on the car...and it's not coming off with WD-40, gentle soap/water, etc. I've tried a few different things and no dice...arrrgh...tree sap!

Yeah, I have a big nasty patch of goop I haven't tried to get off yet. I might go ahead and get some special stuff from the store since it's such a pain.

Waterless, creme type, hand cleaner (Go-Jo is my preference) works well. Just be certain to not use the grit type with pumice or walnut shell or anything like that in it.

I'll try the Go-Jo since the WD-40 only did a marginal job on both the sticker and the tree sap...frustrating...especially since the tree sap is on my hood (about 1/2" circle) and I just found a couple other spots today too. The fuel tank sticker I can live with but would be much more pleased it was all off (my boss saw the ghosted sticker today and asked me what happened)....grrrrrr!

I use Goo Gone and it takes it right off without harm. My local grocery store had it. Home centers and hardware stores have it too.

Yeah, how'd he do that? Is there a thread listing the mods for your Civic Will?

I don't remember getting 70.75, but the prospect of it is appealing . I'm pretty sure I got 64.75, but at any rate, here is where I did all of my mods all at once just before the Green Grand Prix. I made moon discs and replaced my plexiglass upper grill block with a coroplast one (I was cleaning it and it cracked) for this AMEC run. I also made a little tin belly pan for the gaping scoop of a hole between my rear driver's side bumper and the RL wheel well. I should probably update my "build" thread.
