MahindraReva EV Review

Team BHP (which puts the Awe back in Awesome in terms of car sites) has an in-depth review of the Mahindra Reva here.

It is a very full review and compares it to the Tata Nano.

And some other E, er, things.

These do very detailed reviews, and I mean very.

There are more words in this one review on Team BHP than this forum

Excellent- Top Gear magazine could learn a thing or two from this lot.

it reads like a test drive, withiout the trouble of Flying to India

I love Team BHP. Unfortunately, their long-form reviews are too detailed and text heavy for a mass-market car magazine.

They'd make great stand-alone books, though.

Oh, wait... you were talking about Clarkson?

The e20 sounds interesting. The REVAi was incredibly unimpressive when I got a chance to view one up close last year. This, on the other hand, looks like a proper car... with AC! And if it's priced just above the Dzire, that puts it at underneath the 1.5-1.6 liter subcompact class in price. Well, well below the Leaf.

I can't wait for someone to bring it here. I'd love to test drive this baby.

I doubt it will venture outside India much like the Nano. My family have medium-long term plans for an india visit (Mrs A is of Indian descent) and I intend to test a Nano if we do.

Finally got done reading the review. I started 2 days ago when you first posted this thread.

I found it a little thin on detail.

I suspect that the Team BHP "Official" reviews have more detail than the brochures.
