Major materials score!

So I've been seeing these 4x8 election signs everywhere recently and I've actually gone as far as saving the locations into my GPS so that the night of the 5th I'd go back and grab as many as I can... well my concience got the better of me and I decided to scrap the theft idea. Don't want to take any risks...

However, I contacted the local election office and got 2 4x8 signs for FREE!! I'm going back tomorrow for more. I promised that I would post one in my front yard until the 5th. So, guess what I'm going to be doing on the 6th...!

Sweet! All the signs around me are the stupid small ones that are ~18x24" and good for just about nothing... Wish I could find some big ones around here.

Free corroplast! Never thought to ask, but it's a great idea that I'll have to try. Going out later to look for the large signs.

Just take the losing side's signs. The winner's going to want to recycle them himself next time.

I certainly had that thought, but the other candidates don't have signs this big!! Now I just need to figure out the mounting points under the car. I took a peak this morning and wasn't too happy with how complicated the area around the rear wheels looks. I'm not too confident about this project because I don't really want to drill a lot of holes into my car. We will see...

I think its cheaper for them to buy new signs as opposed to 4 years of storage.
