Why not just remove and store it ? ( the spoiler )
I looked on an Ioniq forum, and it appears to come off easily.

I’ve done it before lot of work to take off and put back on. I’m doing a removable boat tail so that’ll make it impractical.

Plus aerohead keeps saying to extend from the end of the spoiler. Not the end of the roof line. Says roofline is too steep and not to take spoiler off and extend. Which was my original plan

So when ice forums in the “ low pressure zone” behind the front tires, it creates a natural “ boat tailing”. Would that be the general shape I should go for when making my own? Should I leave the natures made boat railing on the car behind the wheels when I’m scraping off ice and slush from the rest of the car during snow storms?

Did you notice the new Maclaren T33 has diffusers ahead of the front wheels that provide downforce?

I tried googling some images of the front wheels and can’t see diffusers or anything?

And the black and white pic you showed pretty much shows the shape the ice was making behind my tires. Obviously the “ c” curve towards the lower tire would provide the lowest drag, and that’s what nature was forming with the ice too, but I’d probably have to leave a little space and make it more vertical than curving it inwards just to allow rain water or road debris to escape better. Obviously those shapes work better for dry flat racing like in that pic, versus real world daily driving in bad weather.

The T33 was discussed in a Youtube video but not explained well there.

This is one of the oldest pictures in my albums (2013). Two U-shapes, one strap metal and one conveyor belting.

Today I would show some curvature to the belting. The important thing is the belting U is only held at the two sides so it has some flexibility in ground strikes. And as an exit for rain if not snow.

In addition to the MG EX-181, you'd probably want to revisit Volkswagen's XL1.
We discussed the underside image details of their wheel fairings in the recent past.

Yeah the xl1 under images are pretty much my main blue print. I was just saying if “ nature” is sculpting the shape naturally with snow and ice build up

I filmed this in slow mo so idk why it’s not uploading that way. Can go to settings if the video, change the quality to 60fps and then go to video speed and slow it down. Wind and snow blowing over rear roofline of Ioniq
