My LRR GoodYear Fuel Max tires did OK. But did show increased center wear. I am still not sure how many miles were on them, but my best guess is ~50,000 miles. Center was just noticeably more wore than the outside. I ran these @ ~42 psi most of their life. I am sure this would vary from tire to tire.

I recently ran some tests with the Energy Saver A/S vs. my AVID Ascend tires (195/65/15). The Energy Saver A/S bested my Ascends by 3mpg+ in every portion of my commute and extra trips. The tire was mushy and didn't handle nearly as well as my Ascends but it was quiet, smooth riding and produced crazy good mpg numbers while just cruising on the freeway (at 60mph). If you want to go all Eco then this is the tire. 65,000 mile warranty plus $70 rebate from Michelin makes this a cost/mile winner!

Just a couple freeway trips which includes my normal 48mile commute from 50' ASL to 1,200' ASL then back. No pulse and glide. Just hopped on the freeway each day and kept it at 60mph.

This seems to be a common theme for this tire. It also tends to wear out faster than the tread wear warranty would lead you to believe. I have stopped recommending it for these reasons. It's not even that great for mpg or performance. There are much better tires available for the price.

I ran my walmart specials at 70psi, they lasted for a whole year before blowing out in a very dramatic fashion.
