According to Elliott G. Reid's research at Stanford, simply adding plan-taper to the Abarth's body would give it a shot at Cd 0.168 ( 2006 Daihatsu UFE-III ).

Increase the height to accommodate four occupants and you'd have the Volkhart-Sagitta V2.

Looks like 0.20 is an absolute limit for a classic 5-seat car.

*They look 'normal' enough that they probably won't scare older customers off.
* One thought about Cd though. The 1993 EV1 land speed record car had Cd 0.137 as raced.
* With active suspension and Fachsenfeld's extensible tail from 1935, any Cd 0.20 car might be coaxed down to sub- 0.14.
* Wolf Heinrich Hucho mentioned in 1986 that, we already had the technical feasibility for Cd 0.09.
* To fast-track electrification of transportation, these lower highway Cds would really help extending battery range and market penetration.

EQS roofline
Mercedes provides a multi-view technical drawing of the EQS. I printed it out and did some contour comparisons.
Scott Evans, of MOTOR TREND had commented that, the EQS was ' aimed squarely at the Tesla Model S in size and range.'
On the light table, the EQS rear roofline was a close match to the:
Tesla Model S
Tesla Model X
Tesla Model Y
Tesla Model 3
Porsche Panamera
1999 GM Precept concept
1934 Auto Union Type-52, by Dr. Erwin Komenda
1922 Wolfgang Klemperer, basic half-body
What's old is new again.
Don't let the past pass you by!

Cd 0.18
Great! M-B has caught up with itself from 1997, and they're not ashamed this time.
