Wow, if they can keep that under $20k I'd be interested.

It must be classified as a side by side ATV without airbags and such, but at least in my state you can get plates and run a SXS on the streets.

Whew. I scanned you comment before reading the article and was looking for where it said it's an NEV. Which would imply a top speed of 25MPH.

So ATVs and NEVs are governed by competing State entities. "Custom and tradition" should inform this decision.

The drivetrain is interesting. They will only need 50 to meet their production goals. It would fit in my Superbeetle. But I'd rather have the Arcimoto FUV drivetrain, it can has torque vectoring.

It looks like they are going to sell just the tub as a kit as well.

It would be cool if they also sold the rear assembly as a kit to swap into any RWD rear engine VW of old.

Don't really know, my brother fronted the card, he said it was less than he expected [or was quoted], incl. insurance. I handed him a hundred and he said it was more than enough.

2 hour minimum. We took it from 90% charge to <70%.

I'm trying to get a call in to my brother. My niece was involved with a BMX trail from Falls City to the Coast, maybe I can find out more. Otherwise it's the bike path through Alton Baker Park. For street legal, South Commercial out of South Salem to Independence. Unless they've upgrade that in the last few decades.
