Fixed the post for you No way you should pay more than $900 for that car but start low and make him work to get the price up.
I bought my Focus for $1,100 when I initially saw it listed for $2,800. Low ball and walk away. Tell him to give you a call when he's willing to take your money.

Very true RPM. I have decided against getting it for the time being due to financial concerns. I have been pricing out Insights, Priuses, and CR-Zs. I really like the look of the CR-Z... and they are priced decently. A few 2011 6spd manuals with 60,000 miles is between 8000 and 9000.
