I finally was willing to back off of the mod long enough to get before and after pictures of my scangauge. I was able to measure a drop from .42 gallons per hour at 550 rpm to .38 gph at just under 500 rpm. This is an improvement of about 10%. I accomplished this mod by adjusting tables within the ECU/PCM with a handheld programmer.

^^ When you did the test, was everything else the same? For example coolant temperature, electrical load, etc.

I did the testing back to back with only a few minutes needed for the PCM update, so everything was reasonably similar if not identical. All electrical loads were identical between tests, and I allowed the idle to settle in before snapping the pictures of my Scangauge.
