That would be my Tesla!
They have simplified the door handles, apparently.

I'm surprised they didn't design this mass market car as a hatch back first. This will give the Bolt a competitive edge in the target market.

Mass market compared to other Teslas. Realistically, how many hatches are there over $40k? It's got an expected base price of $35, but the last story I saw expected them to go for an average of $42 with options.

I wouldn't have either. I mean sure, most engineers could come up with a complicated Rube Goldbergish way to accomplish a simple task, but WHY?

One could ask the same about doors.

It is amazing to me how fraught this whole grill thing is. Tesla has obviously transitioned from a "normal" looking grill on the Model S, to the hint of a grill on the Model X, to only the shape of the grill with body color on the Model ☰.
To have the Model S "catch up" - and I think it will look even better.

It's got this little pig snout. Someone will paint nostrils there. Someone else hopefully will mold low-light Karmann Ghia grills in the upper corners.

The production Tesla 3 nose probably won't even look like that. They were rushing to get anything at all to unveil.
