MPGuino resistance between +5V, ground

My MPGuino screen has been flaky, so I started looking for things to check. I found this thread which had dcb explaining to check the resistances on the LCD. I noticed that my pins 1 and 2 were only 11k Ohms. Thinking it was a bad solder job on the pins, I tried to remove them (but ended up scraping the PCB connection between pin 2 of the header and the voltage regulator. With this LCD pin now separate, I still get 11k Ohms between pins 2 and 3 of the regulator (+5 volts and ground).

Can someone check theirs and tell me what may be wrong? Thanks
