must see wind tunnel video for any aeromodder

especially the end of the video when the spoiler comes up

below is an amazing one of someone demoing the aero of the race car USING ONLY A SINGLE GARAGE STYLE FAN AND SMOKE!!
see 0:40-0:52 u see it turn on look at 3:58 you will see it turn off

a fan this size can be purchased used easily... the trick is to find the right spot to perform the tests on our aeromods....

Thanks for posting that, but the smoke in that video is CGI.

the smoke looks just like it was water droplets

I know the wind is real cuz in the second video you see his hair blowing...unless that is cgi too :-)

i'm curious how they combine the cgi smoke with the "real" wind

Look at 1:32 where he describes the votices. It even changes colors to red as it swirls.

Sorry. I had high hopes myself as well.

in the second video at 0:40-0:45 he opens his hand and smoke comes out.

that had me confused until I was enlightened that it was cgi.
I could have sworn it was water droplets from a high air pressure fog nozzle

there's still a part of me which refuses to believe it's cgi but this part at 0:40 as mentioned above kinda pushes me to agree it really is "cgi" and fake

I can assure you the second video contains fake fog.
The first one is real for sure. I have thought about making a small wind tunnel to park my truck in and use a large barn fan and a honeycomb for making straight airflow. I could use part of the pole shed for it.....

In the second one, the fan is at head height. There would only bee a lighr breeze on the guys head, not on the car. If you believe the second one is real then I have an HHO cell for sale. I built it a few years ago. $400

lol I built a HHO cell as well, a large 6x6 too, and it didn't work either.

interestingly there are entire forums of people building these things.
I'd think they would do something but mine didn't HHO Forums - Trying to facilitate the production of HHO for the common folk. - Powered by vBulletin
