What's it clear-coated with?

Why is the minivan at the peak of used car prices going to be an important asset for you to own?

Somehow I can't help but thinking the story ends with "in a van down by the river".

The heater doesn't work, so the defroster makes it colder?

I drove an hour to see my remaining clients with the new agency and the entire drive was below freezing.

Also, Crazy Jay said that my starter is going out.

"So, that's why it sounds like that!"

I restored Mom's headlights

I thought "Why not?! It probably won't be a disaster!"

Before:

I used #0000 steel wool and acetone on the right. The steel wool left it pretty rough and I ran out of acetone.
I wonder and how clean I could have gotten it with an entire bottle. Each time I wiped it the shop towel came away yellow.

I used PlastX on the right. I was going to wet-sand and then use PlastX on the left, but it wasn't bad enough to need sanding, so I removed the tape - - and used whitening toothpaste from Dollar Tree on the whole thing.
Mom and I agreed that the toothpaste worked better than PlastX.

I flung toothpaste all over the car, myself, and my clothing!
It bleached my clothes!
So, use toothpaste lightly.

The tint that came with my car started peeling off

I was going to try to figure out why my heater died, but Mom told me to order my brother a cheeseburger and when I rolled down my window to say "Mobile order #81 for Xist" the tint caught and started ripping off.

While you're out being a productive member of society, you've got me watching get rich slow videos on Youtube.

I Paid Fiverr $500 To Make Me Money On Amazon (and this is what happened...)

TLDR; spend $500 sell one t-shirt. But I like the 'huh' she punctuates every statement with.

Yesterday I heard a woman who kept saying "I was like" and "or whatever."

I don't understand why anyone was conversing with her.

Today my brother had me take him to the store and when I was leaving I was confused because it seemed like a woman had a black pen over her ear--or in her wild mass of hair, but it moved.

She was wearing fake eyelashes.

As I passed her I realized exactly how wild her wild, shapeless mass of hair was and that her jeans had holes in the backs.

In the backs!

Hobo chic?

Anyway, the coolant seemed just a little low in my radiator. I connected my spill-proof funnel, put some coolant in there, and watched it through the gap in the hood while I idled for 15 minutes.

It didn't seem to go down at all.

The engine fully warmed up, but the air was blowing at 50° while recirculating, so that might have been my body heat.

I am a warm guy.

The top hose was hot, there aren't any leaks or smells, and my windows don't fog up unduly.

If the thermostat was stuck open, supposedly the engine wouldn't warm up properly.

There may be air in the system, but I squeezed the hose and pushed down the front of the car 20 times each.

Heaven forbid the heater core being bad. The heater worked recently! Aside from the lack of heat, I don't have signs of a bad core, but it could be clogged.

It could be the blend door. Supposedly that is a huge deal, but this video seems to say that it is surprisingly easy, but that is the XLE, and he doesn't seem to effectively communicate anything:
It could be the controls.

Shouty says to check the cable going through the firewall.

He says that you can block the grill internally with cardboard.

Wouldn't Gorilla Tape on the outside be better?!

I need to ensure the lower hose warms up--and both hoses connected to the heater core.

I can Scotty-rig my car:
However, I should check my fuses first.

The heat works as long as I am going downhill? :)

I turned around my frost-covered car, which was fun because it was covered with frost, and once I ran back with pajama pants and a coat the windshield had started defrosting. After 10-15 minutes the car was defrosted, so I wonder why my neighbor has been idling their car for at least 40 minutes.

Did turning around the car release some air bubble I couldn't get before?

Maybe, but the HVAC controls make noise.

I doubt that my engine warmed up easier with the hood open, plus steam is coming out of the no-spill funnel.

Well, I am going to shut off the engine, and look into my noisy HVAC.

That chump across the street is in a full Army uniform.

He reports to the Armory at nine?

Nine?!

What's going on?!

Edit! I was hearing the blend and other door motors. Mom's car makes the same noises and I listened to mine again.

They don't sound bad. so hopefully turning around the car released a bubble.

I am just curious how low the coolant will be since I didn't let it cool down before I removed the no-spill funnel and reinstalled the radiator cap.

The fluid in the funnel had expanded almost an inch!

Are you adding coolant at the radiator or into the coolant reservoir?

The van acquisition story still hasn't been explained. Perhaps a tale for another thread?

Xist got an insurance payout on his Camry and is shopping for a 4th car. That is the gist of it from multiple threads.
