Seems like the super high rear end gearing was just for EPA testing. Real world, sometimes, you need to cruise at higher than idle speed!

My Ford Taurus was happiest at 70MPH.

I'm going to clean up my cooling system. Right now (not sure if stock) the radiator can't get any static pressure because there is a gap between my AC condenser and the radiator that looks like there should be ductwork covering. I will likely end up adding more ductwork so that I can have more airflow turn into pressure for the radiator.
