Question alternate flash fog lights

i have a set of fog lights on my brush guard. is there anything i can easily set up to make them alternate flash back and forth? or would they just burn out really fast

a turn signal flasher on a DPDT relay would do it, but it would be annoying and ilegel to use.

most likely illegal... definately illegal in ontario, when used on the road. Nothing illegal about using them in your driveway, or having the equipment to use them.

I agree with the likely illegal. Impersonating an officer/ems person etc would be brought up.
Yes, I also agree with you that they would likely burn out quicker. At least with incandescents and CFLs (yah, not quite the same as your halogens) the most wear occurs with lots of on/off use.
