Maybe I didn't know what I was looking at, but I saw it from underneath. The differential and half-shafts look right, but the axle is missing.
I don't know about the Rover front suspension. The two sides are hard to match up. I do know that one of the magazines, R&T or C&D, said they were was so safe if everyone bought one they could raise the speed limit 15 MPH, so maybe crashworthiness?

Yes, that's a Lanchester. Mid-engine air vents help give it away.
The Rover's front suspension was designed to allow the fitting of the gas turbine engine they had in development - ie large, cylindrical shape.

Not sure quite what you are asking.
If you want to learn about car aerodynamic modification, read my book 'Modifying the Aerodynamics of Your Road Car'. It's the only book available on the topic.

Just spent from 1:00 am to 4:00 am reading through the rise and fall of Julian Edgar. There’s always that *one* guy on forums.

Ah, yeah. He’s not unsuccessful, just banned from here. I have his book on aero modifications and it’s super helpful. It’s a shame he was so hostile; a contrarian is good to have.

Yep, and he's "worn out" a lot of other things in his advancement of all things aerodynamic as related to land vehicles: testing techniques, actually trying new ideas for efficacy, documenting, researching, consulting with world-renown experts, writing a plethora of technical books, etc.
His sin as related to this forum was his zeal to right all wrongs as he saw them, and to do it in extremis. I don't think anybody laid a glove on him in regards to his technical expertise and his ability to express it. His expulsion from this arena was not his lack of expertise, of which he excels, but his aggressiveness, lack of diplomacy and a wont for extreme criticism towards those he feels are in error.
Personally, I miss his comments. In his very short tenure as a member here, I believe I learned more from him than any other source on the forum. YMMV.
