So update.. I've been tortured with work for a long while now so I haven't had much time... Blocked off EGR is running normal, left it plugged in and whatnot.. Still havent checked coolant temp sensors. Need to throw some new ones in to see if that helps.. anyone know how to do this? Still idles real low and rough when warmed up then dies ocasionally.

MPGuino is still acting up. I just unplug it sometimes cause it pisses me off haha.
I don't know what to do with it.. Speed freaks out when I go over 70mph and IM is at 999999 right now and sometimes bounces all over the place from 129 to 56 to 1123 to 99999 and CM climes clear up to 200 mpg and just keeps going. I wish this were how it is.. but no.
Any ideas?

You might check CRXcommunity for a solution. There's actually quite a bit that comes up when I search for MPGuino.

I wish I could help you, but life keeps throwing stuff in my way! I haven't had a chance to do anything with my MPGuino yet! And this weekend is shot too! I work all day tomorrow, and Sunday I'm driving my parents to the Seattle airport. So I'm staying in town, with my parents, Saturday. All with little RAVadoodle.
I'm really chomping on the bit to get going on this project!

I have the rear bumper for your car in good shape.
Also, I have that left wing above the bumper. I'm parting this car out.
If interested, contact me at: darrylrobida@yahoo.com as I do not check
ecomodder on a regular basis. Thanks Darryl
I will send photos if you are interested. I'm in California

I LOVE IT

Now my front interior needs done... The center console deal is faded and the black is just coming off.. you know, around the shifter..

Still need to figure out what to about my cargo box deal.. Probly just gunna have the reupholsterer do me up something nice.. I've realized I dont have too much money anymore cause of my upcoming college... ha so progress may slow...
I know that I am a bit late but what paint did you use? I have blue interior and am trying to restore my REX. Blue is so hard to find but black is everywhere. you said it was a SEM paint that is Shadow Blue, but do you have a paint code. That looks so right and very OEM.

Yes SEM Shadow Blue.. I do not have the paint code with me but I can try and find it soon for you.

And it does look great! It's just isn't a perfect match so if you paint one panel, you're going to need to paint them all. I've left the dash alone and will probably only paint the center console, that the radio is in, because I don't mind a bit of a difference there..

It works great! I pulled about 58 going 60-75 on a 250 mile trip.. Then about 53 going 80+ mph on the same trip. Just wanted to see the difference, plus I hit traffic and didn't use the kills witch too much..

But it works great. The Check Engine light is a little annoying on long trips but sometimes I get lucky and it doesn't come on.

If you're still having that idle problem, I'd be willing to bet that you still have air in the coolant somewhere... Doesn't make sense for it to just magically show up after you work on it.. How did you install that Thermostat? There is a small air bleeder deal in it that needs to face towards the top. It is a small detail that is ofen overlooked. Hopefully it has been resolved by now though.
