Need a clean '99 HX manual?

It might be time to sell Slambo.

The car's been off the road for a while. When the alternator went south, I parked it and picked up a new (to me) DD.

My wife wants the car out of the driveway. My son wants to K-swap it.

Body is solid. Engine and trans are original, AFAIK. OEM Enkies need a respray.

Needs an alternator/belts and new tires, at a minimum. If I list the car locally and/or on eBay I will swap out the alternator and make it look pretty before posting.

Where were you when I bought my Civic?! Lol.

I can’t swing the cash (got $13 in my account tonight), but I have seen it on YouTube and at Fuelly. I wouldn’t mind the provenance. I can’t blame you as the alternator is a royal pain to slide in and out (ask me how I know).

I’ve thought more than once that if anything happens to mine, I’d seek out an HX, since my commutes would work pretty darn well with lean burn.

I passed up one years ago and have kicked myself ever since. I would have to drive it from where you are back to Alabama. Do you feel like it would be able to make it with new alt/belts, and tires?
