Just make sure the ignition is OFF.
Twisting the throttle with a charger plugged in will kill the charger, and the DC-DC converter isn't rated for the voltage that the 60 volt charger reaches in order to charge the pack.
Also, the charger is not rainproof and if it overheats it won't function properly.
If you want to be able to charge the scooter outside while leaving the charger inside I would recommend looking to buy or make an IEC320 C13 to C14 extension cord.
