I posited that 'disappat[ing] the exhaust without slowing it' might achieve that. The only analog I can recall is a trumpet mute.

Now I've moved on to wonder about cymatics.

edit: on the Beetle I found the model but not the .MTL file so it lost the colors and textures. I've cut away the back window and deck lid and mocked up the Coanda nozzle, but now it seems I need to master Curve to Mesh operations to move forward.

I retract any and all attribution. That's easier than going back over everything from Permalink #25 and onward.

Could one combine cymatics and the Tesla one-way valve? Vary the size and spacing of the convolutions to address a wide[r] range of frequency?

Oversteer much?

They could've run the big motor's exhaust forward and put the turbo closer to the little engine's
header to reduce back pressure.

Or just use an electric turbo?

But do you know whether the modification actually works as designed? If they fudge the data, the build and the results how do you know it actually works?

NO ONE is going to fit an equally sized engine to vacuum exhaust out of the 1st engine.

IF
Except for You/tube content where you will get the same number of clicks whether it works or not:
No-one is going to do it
THEN
What's to be gained from fudging the numbers..?

What is free is the low pressure behind a moving car.
