Mine is a DOHC with a manual transmission. The only mod is a crack in the front bumper. :-)

SL1 denotes SOHC engine. If you have a DOHC you have an SL2 unless someone swapped in a DOHC into you factory SOHC car. Have you run the VIN to know for sure what model you have? Different Racing <- VIN decoder.

The RPM at highway speeds will give a clue as to what version of the manual trans you have. Considering your MPGs I'm guessing you have a SOHC trans with the taller 4th and 5th gears (MP2). DOHCs run about 3000RPM at 70MPH with factory trans, My DOHC with SOHC manual trans runs ~2400RPM at 70MPH (haven't been at 70mph in so long I forget the actual rpm lol).
