I have looked into many different mods, but as my truck is no longer my daily driver, the mods would never pay for themselves.
But if I would mod it....I would go with a taller rearend gear and a 5sp manual swap. I would probably leave the engine mostly stock as it makes really good torque down low; 260 lb-ft of torque at 2800rpm.
