Turnip asked why we should bail out blue states. - They are Americans, whether he likes them or not.
- Don't they pay more taxes?
- They may like him more if he helps them out.
Anything else?

Did he ask that?
The 3rd thing on the list will happen just after pigs fly.

Trump asks why taxpayers should help bail out blue states
I am going to guess that this does not fit someone's narrative, so they will claim that it was taken out of context, I intentionally and maliciously misinterpreted his words, he was being sarcastic, or maybe they will engage in an ad-hominem attack instead of disputing facts.
Someone please list states that are not asking for money.

A scan of the news suggests it's Mitch McConnell's suggestion. 'Trump tweeted. "I am open to discussing anything, but just asking?"'
I'd be less concerned about which way the money flows (states vs corporations) and more about governance. Maybe a few strings attached?

I don't want to bail out any insolvent states. Red or blue. What's that, all the insolvent states are blue, hmmm well imagine that.
For example even in new mexico, if you work in the education system you have to contribute 13% of your pay to their retirement pyramid scheme. They only match 6%.
We're not Illinois, yet. But we are working on it.
There's 2 kind of states, those that ask for money and those that would be bankrupt if they were corporations.

Not sure where you got that idea. Kentucky is the most indebted at 22.3% of GDP and Wyoming the least at 5.3%. Texas (17.4%) is more indebted than California (16.6%). None are carrying anywhere near the debt load of the United States.

Maybe there is a third kind...
wallethub published a little survey, essentially comparing how much money a state's residents pay in federal income tax to the amount the state gets back in grants, aid and federal employment.

Oh! New Mexico is the biggest freeloader.

Went to a mall today and after that I went to a supermarket. Besides the alcohol on the hands (in some places it's liquid 70% alcohol while others provide alcohol gel), in some cities now they're also checking people's temperature before allowing access to supermarkets. If it's above 37.8° C access is denied and people are reported to authorities as a suspected case for the Chinese virus.
