good to see a fellow melbournian here, i have only spotted a few other Australians around. Welcome to the site as weather spotter mentioned the wiki is a great place to start, the +65 efficiency mod list and +100 hypermiling lists are great to look at too.

You have clearly already found the forums, there is a lot of info in them and after many months here i am still finding interesting new info every time i come here. There area also some good blogs in the blog section.

Since you are in australia if your worried about legality of any modifications you can find the road worth rules online at various government websites.
