I was on Fords website looking at the new 2011 fiesta. They are claiming 30mpg city and 40mpg highway with *pending EPA certification. It appears that this is with the SFE option otherwise it's 30-city and 38-highway.

I was looking at options and they have a 5 speed manual or a 6 speed "powershift" that comes with a "SFE" or "super fuel efficient".

•Underbody shields
•Blockers on lower grille
•15" painted-aluminum wheels
•Speed control
•Spare wheel and wheel cap

Interesting. I wonder what the 'underbody shields' looks like.

The following article claims a .33 Cd for the 2011 fiesta.

Can't tell you much on what they look like. I do know from folks that attended the LA Auto Show that with the SFE package, the Cd drops to ~.29x.

2011 fiesta aero template

The 2011 fiesta hatch back looks like it has pretty good aero. I wouldn't be surprised if you can get a sub .30 Cd on car. If not standard, a grill block, belly pan and rear wheel skirts should get you there.
