Talking New member, EV motorcycle streamlining project

I have been lurking for some time and figured I would register in preparation of starting my first streamline project shortly.

I have acquired a 2013 Zero S 11.4 with a lot of modifications including a larger size 6 sevcon and a ventilated motor. Originally I was going to use my ninja 250, or another used one, with the vetter fairing sitting in my living room but after crunching the numbers it seems the electric would pay for itself in savings over 5 years so I couldn't resist getting one.

I have not chosen a name for my project but I have several ideas in my project organizer so I do not have a formal blog set up yet. I have been debating using my current youtube channel ( callmeburton ) or making up a new one just for the project. I haven't decided which way to go yet.

Once the project is chosen I will formally express my desired goals for the project and get to work outlining my process, problems, successes, and drama I hope to gain insight from the community especially in regards to the tail section since the front is pretty much set from the start.

For those familiar with Terry's bike this is not being built to compete against or with him. I doubt I will set any records with the bike and it will likely just be a solid commuter.

That said I look forward to working with you all.

Any efficiency gained is more range, longer cycle life. I hear those batteries are good for 300,000+ miles. It's gonna be the last motorcycle you'll ever need to buy in your lifetime!
