Well, that would be a long story. Here is my modding and maintenance thread: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post374667
But if you keep reading the forum with your open mind, you'll see the merits of most of what I am saying eventually because I'm really just in the mainstream, more or less, on this site... nearly all I know about this game I learned here. Study the efficiency mods and hypermiling tips (linked near the top of this page). Some of the good stuff is free, low profile, and/or ridiculously cheap, such as the tire pressure, engine-off coasting (with a manual transmission), no-idling, grill blocks, and airdams.

I learned after buying one that UG doesn't support diesels at present.

It supports all the OBD stuff like normal, but doesn't support DFCO for diesels for some reason (this is mentioned in the user manual), since diesels DFCO so well/ often, it makes the MPG display basically pointless.
I went back to SG2 which is a shame as UG almost looked OEM on my dash.

Actually, I have come across so many people who swear by the Pro-Ma products, and a government approved lab test that showed improvement, so I had high expectations. Having tested the product myself, I have found that these expectations have been met. The science behind how they work, is sound, so I was not surprised when I got a positive result. Pro-Ma has been around for a long time, and in fact the formulation of their petrol (gasoline) additive has been around since the days of the Model T Ford, so clearly there is a reason for that.
