I may be in the minority around here but IMO MPG is abberational if it is based on less than the consumption of a full gallon. If I could coast my '07 Civic EX AT for 3.5 miles on a downgrade I could easily surpass 100 mpg as well I would guess. But that's a bias for me as I have an average commute of ~50 miles each way with various elevation changes.
