Welcome to EM! Maybe you can try a "Dr. Ecomodder and Mr. Hyde" approach to driving, . The fuel-cutoff has been discussed. On the Scangauge, we *know* it happens when the instant MPG goes to 9999. But, it doesn't seem to be implemented "across the board". It seems like it's on some cars and not others.
