New VX'er from Ithaca, NY

Hi, some of you will recognise me from gassavers.org. I have a 94 civic VX, with grill block, synthetic fluids, and 124k. After a year with this car I am really starting to like it. At first I had to get used to the really tall gearing and fix the lean burn, but now it is a joy. I live up a dirt road in the mountains, which kills my fe especially in the winter because the sun never hits my car. I use it as a daily driver, family car, and even do farm errands with it, picking up chicken feed, etc. In the winter I get 45-48 MPG and in the summer it is around 57 MPG. I still have high rolling resistance 175/70/13 tires...am waiting for them to wear out. Other than that I am thinking of some smooth hubcaps soon, and maybe even a short boattail (nothing basjoos style yet).

Hi James - welcome.

If you like, I can import your fuel log for you. Just set up a garage entry and let me know!

Thanks! Maybe this site will get me motivated to get my 2 pizza pans installed on my wheels, and build a mini boat tail for my hatch. The 10 deg F weather is killing my economy.

I will try and take a few new pictures soon and put them on. It is white and looks stock, except for the cardboard (easily removable) and metal grille block.
