It doesn't keep all the issues of a normal motorcycle. It solves the problem of low siding if the front wheel loses traction. That is a big deal.

My friend's Spyder leaned too much.
I miss her.

Trikes are often pointed out as "the worst of both worlds", and this one is actually too weird-looking, but some of them are still interesting somehow.

A 'bike' that heavy would be an awful thing to get pinned under if you go off high side.

Complex answer to a question no one is asking. Especially a 321cc version.

The 250cc Piaggio MP3 sells well in Europe where scooters and motorcycles are used regularly for transportation. I'm sure the extra grip is nice on wet cobblestone streets.
Also, I specifically asked for motorcycle version of the MP3.

This, and the possibility of fitting a full enclosure, was one of the reasons why I became interested about tricycles, even though my main motivation is still the improved cargo (or passenger) capacity

I guess my frustration with this bike is that they used telescoping forks. It would have been a great opportunity to use any one of a number of different (and better!) front suspension systems.
That they went to this much trouble to design a motorcycle to overcome one of the fundamental flaws of a two wheeler says a lot about the safety of current motorcycles--and I'm a guy who genuinely loves to ride.
