Newbie: Chicago, Kia Forte

Hey folks!

Found out about this forum through an MSN spotlight on the fella who pulled off 97MPG in a Pontiac Firefly, needless to say you have my attention!

As for a little background information about me: I've driven sports cars most of my young life -- modding has been a big part of it. After trading in my last car for a Kia Forte, I've had some revalations -- including that of "Where am I gonna drive fast in Chicago anyway?" If nothing else, I'm sick of the speeding tickets.

I traded in my tibby because, frankly, I needed something cheap, economical and with 4 doors to better suit my college-bound needs and the Kia Forte fit the bill quite nicely. Now, as opposed to the itch to drive faster or make my car look cooler, I've got the itch to do something to up my already awesome (in comparison to my sports cars) MPG.

Time to get browsing!

Welcome to EM! I thought you were the first Forte but someone garaged theirs last year :

Details: Blur - 2010 Kia Forte SX Fuel Economy - EcoModder.com

It seems that the owner moved on, so you have the chance to give us some good info on what the Forte can do.

Welcome to the site. It'll be interesting to see what kind of mileage you can get out of the forte.
