Thumbs up Newbie here with Velomobile

I drive a Catrike 700 that was converted to a Coroplast Velomobile.
I've been tooling around with the idea of building a fiberglass fairing to replace the Coroplast one day. I was led here by a google search and found a great thread on the subject from last year by a CFU student. So here I am...

Thanks for having me.

Cheers,
Daniel

It may improve the aerodynamics a bit, but you'll likely loose because of the weight issue.

You've got the worst aerodynamic issue sorted as-is.
Maybe a bit of tape here and there.
Covering the wheel wells might improve efficiency - see aerocivic.com for ideas on how to manage wheels prodding against (bungee spring-loaded) covers

The coroplast is cheap and easily replaceable as well.

Good aero gains much more efficiency than the added weight loses. The best example of this is the enclosed motorcycle that used to be featured here on EcoModder.
