yep-its the slant 6 i gotta fix my tank before i get numbers. I'm hoping to get mid to high twentys highway. i have lots of ideas from previously trolling eomodder lol

...swap the existing MANUAL rear axle ratio (3.55, 3.18, etc.) for the lower AUTO axle ratio (2.73).

it is an auto now, the ratio is 2.93. i have 28 inch tires on the way though

I had a 63 with the 170 that would do 28 highway 45 years ago, on recaps, with 70 MPH speed limits, but you couldn't stay in 3rd gear climbing Afton Mountain between Charolettesville and Waynesboro Va.

With better gearing, electronic ignition, and radials, in good mechanical shape 30 should not be to hard. Just watch the brakes or get a dual master and some discs on the front.

Driving one of those was the best antedote to tailgating ever invented.

Had 7 Valients and Darts 63-69 that I can remember.
