Nice 2001 Insight (Orange, CA)
I longingly studied this one. Even showed it to my wife. She said "let's go look at it," but I want the $3500 for house project materials. Very promising ad, I think: 2001 honda insight

The gentlemen selling that car is Doug. He buys them at auction, fixes them and then resells them. He doesn't buy salvaged titles though.
Tbh, I would stay out of the insight world. The only guy that works on these cars (other than me) is a major asshole and a horrible, horrible person. I'm probably going to sell my insight and get a civic.

That is a good price for the low miles. I'd definitely take a look at it.

Pretty vague ad considering its length, although it gave the entire history of the G1 Insight for anybody interested.
I would run a VIN check on it to get its history, and the car is right around the mileage things start to fall apart, so I would check out the thread about buying a G1 Insight and know what you're looking for prior to checking it out
Good luck!

Cow meat, this insight is extremely clean. I saw it way back when I (used) to work at the aforementioned guys shop. It had a broken rear engine mount, mirror, and a couple other minor things, but he fixed them.
I am not vouching for it, due to me not recommending anybody getting one. Just making a statement based on observation.
