Interesting front cowl aerodynamics design, that center "scoop" leading up to the windshield. I'm guessing its purpose is to channel the cowl air around the windshield toward the sides of the vehicle rather than predominately over the roofline.

The sides of the scoop need to be high as they are the front wheel wells... the center is low because that's best for air flow, better than pulling it up to front wheel height.

...and the center being lower makes it better a sight line for the driver?
I hope that being white will lower the chances of this car getting crashed into. That seems to be a hazard of the wide rear wheels.
I like this new "old" class of low drag Le Mans cars, started by the Panhard LM64.

World's Fastest Electric Race Car...
Nissan ZEOD RC, (whew, Zero Emissions On Demand Racing Car) the experimental entrant for the next 24 Heures du Mans will have a fully electric drivetrain capable of over 186 mph. Or an electrified Nissan DeltaWing.
24 hours battery life? ...maybe they have collaborated with Tesla's Fast Pack engineers.
Nissan ZEOD RC Is Definitely Not A Deltawing

This is quite informative - a liquid cooled 12kWh battery pack.
Here's a video about the 400HP 3-cylinder turbo ICE:

Here's their all-electric lap:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=SfxPHwoBaPI
It was passed by the Rebellion LMP1 car (4th place overall) but it passed the Aston Martin (2nd place in the GTE Pro) - so if that is any indication, it was a quite competitive lap. They just need about 300 of those, not the 24 they got.
