Many more have appeared in this small part of CA. Used to be a high percentage of students at 2 colleges, then over the last 3 years or so; older and more traffic-wise cyclists (stop signs, arm signals) and cyclists who do not not take shortcuts through grandmas rose garden ($%^^&!!) have been slowly appearing.

I actually saw two scooters going the opposite direction at the same time today, almost took a picture. Seems like more are appearing as summer starts here and I plan on seeing many many more this summer and next summer.

Here is the road I drive to get to work anything smaller than a 350cc or so is asking for trouble. It needs to be able to hold 45mph up a reasonably steep hill and have strong enough brakes to handle the downhill parts. Only way to have a bicycle is to have it in the trunk

There is about 15 miles of road like that to get there. The next closest road that gets there is half dirt and is about 50 miles around some mountains. WV is fun for commuting

I ride a road not much different than that CoyoteX... And that is just part of the 50 miles each way...
