According to wikipedia, I know I know, the manual trans was available from '84 - '96.

I actually just saw a caravan for sale locally that was 5 speed and it was the newer body style. I hate caravans I think they are junk but that raised my eyebrow. Let me see if I could find it.

Edit: couldn't find it. It was a while ago that I saw it. I did see a box style one though that had factory 4cyl turbo 5 speed. That would be fun

Eventually that one might have been retrofitted, but then I don't know. Regarding European models, maybe the manual was available only for the Diesel versions...

If I had a 2.5 litre (Or whatever size that's close to that) diesel manual caravan the size of the one I've been driving I think I could manage 29 per tank easily even without EOCing, I'm already getting 24 easily in a gas engine with an auto transmission. Add a little EOCing and there's already 35.

Come to think of it 35 wouldn't be unheard of in a 90s whale station wagon if I stuck a Diesel engine and Manual tranny in it and added LRR tires. But, I don't even have such a car on this day in December 2013, I'm just observing it.
