Those using it once and seeing no results have failed to read the testimony of many with successful use.

Typically takes 3 tank fills to have a noticeable effect. Basically quieter operation.

If your mpg decreases, you used too much. Most is 1oz/4 gallons. Start with 1oz/5g and adjust as necessary.

As far as cats and sensors concern, TC-W3 burns ashless. So do not just buy any 2-stroke. Make sure it is TC-W3.

Try a gallon and the worst is you're out $12-$20 for around 40 tank fills. The best, your car idles quieter, lubricate against ethanol, and mpg slightly improves for only $12-$20 for around 40 tank fills.

I tend to agree in a modern engine, i think it offers some benefits in older less evenly fueled vehicles, carb engines generally have a fuel distribution variance that cause some cylinders to run richer, there the tiny bit of oil i believe will cause some relief from wear, also on the more expensive side, there are some synthetic motorcyle two stroke oils i have used that gave significant power increases in my older Japanese street two stroke suzukis. , Golden spectro was one, but at around 19$ per pint a bit pricey

Golden Spectro, the castor based oil, smells awesome. Despite their lubricating qualities, given how truly dirty and gummy castor based oils are, I would not run them in a car, especially one with a cat.

Could be your right on the cat part but i have never fouled a plug on my small outboard and while it doesnt have a tach, their was a definite speed increase , on my gt 380 two stroke injected suzuki motorcycle the magazines all tested it at about 100 mph top end, mine with no other mods peaked out at around 110, most of the guys using it leaned out their oil pump settings quite a bit , i didnt, but for me it was pretty awesome. I may try a bottle in the old ranger once I get a leaky fuel injector replaced, at 400 K they are starting to leak down a bit after a hot run, always something . thought at first it was a head gasket as the front and rear cylinders plugs get deposits on them but have never used a drop of water after the whole winter, so thinking and hoping its an injector issue.

I've though about doing it in my 57 Chevy, but decided to stick w/ TCW3.

Well - a little update.

I had heard that adding too much TC-W3 causes mileage to drop. I started using 1 oz per 5 gallons, and it worked well. Then I moved to 1 oz per 4.5 gallons and saw a slight improvement (above 1 to 5). Most recently, I was a bit more liberal, approximately 1 to 4 - result, gas mileage for the most recent tank dropped by 0.9 MPG.

I just got my best tank ever (61.2 mpg) with my smart using tcw3 at 1oz per 5 gal., I can't say if it made a difference or not (too many variables) but I'm not complaining. It definitely runs smoother with it in the gas. Chumly

I have used a special mix that consists of the following for the last 2 years:
2 ounces to 10 gallons two stroke oil TC W3
1 ounce to 10 gallons diesel fuel
2.5 ounces to 10 gallons lucas injector cleaner
I just changed the plugs and wires .. plugs had over 50k on them and they looked perfect, my car also passes air care without any issues.
The engine is noticeably quieter and I can definitely notice the mpg loss if I forget to add the mix.
