Yes he does, doesn't he? And does photo shoots for newspaper articles, and...
Hope you're back to your old self soon.

A Full and Speedy recovery will come to you.
I was letting a few people test ride my E-bike today, one friend got mad when I told him he couldn't ride without the helmet. Extra glad I stuck to it now :-)

The photo shoot was actually right before the accident...
I'm sad I'm missing the races this weekend, but perhaps I'll catch up on work, or pleasure reading, or something.

Wow, sounds like a nasty accident. Glad you didn't get too banged up. Keep at it though.

I was wondering what the away messages were about. Sorry I didn't check in sooner. It must be tough missing the races! Nothing left to do but get ready to tackle those 20+ grades asap. Good luck on the recovery. If the weather 40 miles south is anything like up here, we're expecting rain most of the week anyways

Hope you get back on..
I had one of those moments...one time I lost control when i was going down a street that sloped and got the bike up to a very high speed. Lost control and ate cement face first. Knocked out a tooth, had to get a xray because a I had a nasty bruise next to my left eye.
I don't ride without a helmet..plus everybody I know ate cement in some form or another. One cousin lost control of the bike and knocked his 4 front teeth out.. another cousin got hit by a car...wear a helmet!

Yeah, the rain today for the races this morning was pretty gross, but our team did pretty well,

Glad you are okay.
I work in a emergency room and have seen some things that could have been prevented by just wearing a seatbelt or helmet. I guess bikers there must have seen your experience and learned from it if they don't already wear a helmet.

Firm and solid believer in helmets. When my son was in a bad bike wreck at 10 years old, a larger number of kids in the neighborhood started wearing them. When my son crashed, he was run over by another kid. If not for the helmet, that chainring would have made a mess of my son's forehead...
Don't rush getting over a concussion. But do get back on that bike soon! Glad to hear you are otherwise unharmed...
