Very interesting concepts shown in the photos. Most of that showcases flat sides that are way more than an inch off the main body. I have the coroplast to roughly make the panels but I haven’t come up with a way to temporarily attach them to the car without also sealing the edges which would contaminate testing. For standing the panels off I planned to use small plastic tubes (pen barrels cut up) to hold the panels off from the car and a screw through them to hold them down. Alternately I could use a strip of coroplast parallel to flow but then we are getting into the effects of having vanes under the widebody, which could skew the results

That would work if I had traditional fender lips to attach them to. Plastic body means additional fabrication troubles

An 180° rolled edge [vs 90° flange] gives similar woes.
