Parting out 1988 Honda Accord

I've decided to part out Goldie, my '88 Accord.
As to why, see here;
http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...dead-3846.html

I haven't pulled the engine/transaxle yet.
Other things I think I'll try to remove to sell;
radiator
half shafts, left and right
front brake rotors/pads (little wear)
headlight assy's
driver's side rearview mirror.
wheels- w/newer tires.
tail light assy's
quarter window glass
interior peices

Any suggestions of what else I can sell? I've never parted out a car before, so this is a learning experience for me. Am I missing any parts that may be of value?
Here's the only pic I have so far. I'll post some more later. Right now I'm pretty pooped from being at the Dunes all day with the family...

Pull the fuel pump and main relay. The main relay is notorious for causing fuel problems. The fuel pump is spendy.

Distributor. The little silver igniter (LXi only) on the side of it is a spendy part all on its own.

Headlight bucket motors. Ever see the ones going down the road during the day with the lights off and buckets up? That's their problem.

The half shafts (CV joints) the passenger side fits automatics and manuals. The drivers side only fits manuals.

Depending in how new the upper a arms are they may be worth pulling too.

A/C pump if it had one.

Heater control.

Alternator.

Does Indiana use a lot of salt on the road in the winter? Goldie looks kinda rusty.

Thanks. I hadn't thought of the fuel pump and relay.
The alternator is relatively new. Good call.
Would the exhaust have any value to bother with?

Yah, Indiana loves the salt. Especially here in the Land of Lake Effect.
I think they may have cut back in the last few years, but for an '88 the damage is already done. Which is why I'm parting it out and not sinking any more money into it. When pieces start falling off, that's when I call it quits!

Now just to find the time to start pulling parts off...

If the exhaust is in good condition someone may want it.

I lived near Chicago in the early 80s and I know all about that lake effect weather.
My uncle and I were on the driving range wacking or trying to wack some golf balls. Beautiful summers day in the middle of July. Along comes a friggin blizzard, you couldn't see anything. We were stuck in the club house for about 20 min, you couldn't leave cause you couldn't see to drive. About 4 inches of snow fell and it was all gone a half hour later.

Oh, all right. Who needs to sleep, anyway.

The wheels are masITALY name brand.

On the backside of one of the spokes is 7Jx15H2. Dunno. Doesn't mean anything to me.

They have scrapes and scratches.

I put new tires on them not too long ago. They have a lot of tread left. They're Kumho Solus HP4's. 195/60R15's.

Thanks for the interest. You can PM me if you like.

I've still got the wheels. I'd take a couple hundred for them. I just sold the headlight assemblies on eBay, but everything else is still taking up valuable space in my garage!

TC: Last night I saw my 89 old Accord sedan (LX) tooling down the street. It's the last Accord of that vintage on the road in town. Something like 430,000 km on it.

Don't regret selling it though. The Fireflies have been fun (and, surprisingly, more reliable & less expensive to maintain).

Do you still have your rims and tires? I know it has been a long time, just thought I would check. Thanks
