Holy crap!!! I downloaded it, but I haven't saved all the libraries so they said I would lose all that stuff, so I'll install it later. COOL!!!

I'm asking $5 for the current sensor board, and the bill of materials is just typing, so it costs $0. hehe.

Paul,

Sign me up for one (1). You can PM me with the specifics.

I hope the shipping doesn't cost more than the PCB.

haha. I'll have to avoid priority then. I think it could just ship in a small envelope. I need some stamps though.

It would be a good a good idea to identify the new 1000 Amp Controller PCB as "Rev.E", to avoid confusion with the Ausi Rev.D PCB.

Might be better to call it "Cougar 2" or something. What about "Lion" as the king of the beasts? (controllers)

I'm looking at the rev 2D schematic and had a couple of questions. What does the J6 connector go off to? Also, other than the obvious answer of an optoisolator (U13), what does pin 4 of the MCU go to? Thanks.

You'll have to ask those crazy aussies.

Control board:

Driver board:

Power board Top:

Power board Bottom (haha, I said bottom!):

Bottom (haha) of partially assembled controller. 10 film caps:

Top. Notice the bus bars are on their sides to make the loop as small as possible:

Those 2 little holes are where the curretn sensor will bolt to (with nylon bolts, you stinkers). Pretty small huh!:

Side view of the top:
