I too am keen to see a video.
Curious to know what it sounds like with no ICE screaming or turbos blowing off.

On a non-public road under controlled conditions with a professional driver and full safety gear of course.

Hi Guys
I took the "Device" to our annual 1/8th mile drags on Sunday
Had a great day - slightly sunburned!
I went a bit quicker, last year it was 14 seconds, this year 11.02 seconds
But not as quick as I expected,
I have the controller set to 1000amps - I don't think I'm getting that, the highest (battery) current I saw was just over 600 amps and I only got up to 52mph

Is it possible that only two of the IGBT's are operating? - at Christchurch with only 1/4 of a charge I did 10.5 seconds and 59mph.
On Sunday it did not feel anything like as brisk

I'm going to keep driving it at the moment - the weather is lovely and I still have a shed full of Subaru to fix before I can have a good look at the Device

Is there any way to get an ammeter on the motor amp cable? I would be surprised if an igbt wasn't turning on.

That is very consistent with my controller. I have gauges on both the motor and battery amps. At 1000 motor amps the battery current is about 500 to 600 amps.

I think that means that the PWM is about 60% at 1000 motor amps.

Hi Paul

When I get the damn Subaru back together and out of my shed I'm going to have a look at the Device,
I have been having difficulty with my speedo (Cycle Analyst) and I'm thinking about moving the sensor from the motor to one of the wheels
I will also have a look at the brushes and see if I can't use my spare Cycle Analyst to look at motor current

Meanwhile its really nice to drive and while the good weather is here I will just try and enjoy it

I have 47 batteries (100 amphour LiFePo4). About 155 volts at rest.
At 1000 motor amps battery voltage drops to 135 volts or so.

Duncan
What is 40S ?

Hi, i'm new here. And have one question, is possible to get somewhere full data od Rev2D 500 Amp controller ? Including full scheme, PCB, firmware and data sheet ? I want to rebuild it for ussage in my motorcycle, with two modes of maximum Amp and upgrade PCB for another dimensions, that i can use in bike. But i can't find full info or data, always some parts but nothing complete. If somebody will help me, I would be very grateful. Thanks
