Hm. I appreciate the level of design that went into this car, but my honest opinion is:

It's butt-ugly.

(Thank you for sharing that link, by the way, it was an interesting read)

Doesn't even have to be CHEAP gold paint. You could even use real gold leaf, and underneath it'll still be useful organic fertilizer.

But this case seems almost the opposite: seems like they've taken a bar of lead, dipped it in bullsh*t, and are trying to sell the result as pure gold.

What is the big deal about this car? It's just a rehash with a minor adjustment. They are playing it safe, and I don't believe it will be a big seller. There's nothing that truly seperates it from the pack of jellybeanmobiles everyone else is producing.

I don't want one but I like the design. More photos here :

The one thing I don't like on any car is the non-circular exhaust tips.

It's about the surveys and polls that tells them:

This is how your customers conceive themselves . . when in an idealized state.

Idealized state?

What does that mean?

Where they drunk or high?

Sell the sizzle. The designers have to work with what survey/focus groups give them. Descriptions of how they go about their day

the words sorta say it all

magical (I am), transcendent (my aspiration)

When you drive our car, this is what we will mirror of you. (That set of feelings will become predominant).

Which begs the question of what sort of people these are?

By income grouping they are our local societal leaders.
