I have seen somewhere that you can even obtain veggie oil already road-taxed to be used as fuel. Anyway, I still guess the Polo wouldn't consume so much more than, let's say, 1500 litres of fuel (either Diesel or veggie oil) year-round.

At 400 miles to 40l i could do 25,000 before the 2500l limit would cut in. That works out at a tank per week.
I reckon your 1500l guess is close to the reality. Except its only a 10% mix so only using 5l veg and 35l diesel.
Will be ramping up the litres of veg each tank

You might be kinda skeptical to try 100% veg oil with the stock pump, but would you still consider trying that? Or have you set on a maximum limit to the veg oil blends? BTW I have seen some reports that every Diesel vehicle can tollerate a maximum 30% veg oil blend in regular Diesel fuel, regardless of injection system, but I take it with a grain of salt specially considering the newer and more sophisticated aftertreatment systems that are already problematic dealing with biodiesel...

I'm just going to go up by 10% a tank until she gets ropey.
As the outside temp increases she should cope with more svo. I may order in a new filter in preperation.

Backbox delete completed for a total of $5!
Being a diseasal, its quiet even without one.
We're now heading towards the 2nd tank with VEG-aiming for 20%(likely made up of 9l veg with 1l petrol for dilution). The warmer weather should all that to be ran no issue.

468 miles for 43 odd litres is pretty damn good!

324.7 for 37.05l is not so good-think I may have had a short fill in the last tank..
However since filling it has done 97 miles on an 8th of a tank..so seems to be ok
Tyre pressures ok, exhaust still backboxless
