Key word here is "hole". The low pressure under the vehicle sucks the boundary layer through the hood keeping flow attached and reducing drag.
Btw I just launched a new product, Fastholez MPG-Plus, anyone's interested?

The writer of the Pop Mech article needs to go back to school. Aside from the really bad title, there's more!

I think he means something else.
And this statement:

Commenters in the PM piece are making some valid critiques about their test methodology.

It works on everything, 50+% savings. I tested it on a TDI with FastHolez vs a 89 Taurus, the TDI got much better mileage.

Sure, things are moving fast. I just contracted with Hummer to "mod" all their vehicles. So as soon as you see one feel free to poke a couple FastHolez in it.

I just registered the fastholez.com web site and added a "gift" section:
Quote:
Surprise friends and loved ones with the efficient gift of FastHolez (TM)! Just enter the person's address and vehicle description, and we'll send out an approved FastHolez (TM) installer to discreetly improve his/her vehicle.
