Possible Hack

About 10 minutes ago when reading Facebook I saw the Ecomodder insignia on an article 100% political with nothing to do with transportation. I see no reason for that subject. Confusing!

Did you also comment on our FB page?

I saw someone left an odd comment that they were unfollowing us on FB (which we haven't used in years) because of some post.

I haven't looked into it. I suppose it's possible.

When you see something like that take a screen shot.

On MacOS press Shft-Cmd-3. On Windows I think it's Prnt Scrn/open Paint/Paste/Save. On a phone I have no idea.

It's still there

I just scroll past those sort of "articles" anyway, so I almost didn't even notice it.

Yep, that is it; that breaking news. I have not even known about an Ecomodder site on Facebook, only a few posts by members many years ago (I had a Ford Aspire- THAT long ago! ) I did not click the article, but I did click [angry] and went on scrolling. I have been getting a lot of mix-matched posts going on with subjects unrelated with what is usually discussed.

Aw, it's gone now. I thought it was funny, and posted "Heh!" in the comments.

I wouldn't touch that cesspool, but going on the evidence at hand, it would appear that "PROUDCONS.COM" is involved. If I was starting up a 'fake news' operation I'd want to name it proud-con, but that's already taken.

A social media site trying to be a news aggregator, isn't that precious. Stick to Slashdot.org, the moderation is [probably] better. Or Fark.com, the comments are [probably] better.

Thanks. I think I'm just going to look into deleting the page.

FB isn't worth the trouble.

UPDATE: removed the editor who mistakenly posted that to EM's page.

Still looking into deleting it though...
